Thanks for visiting the ACAOS website!

Singin' in the Rain Poster

As many of you will aready know the Sir John Wilson Town Hall in Airdrie, home of ACAOS' "Opera Week", has closed it's doors until October 2011 while undergoing an extensive refurbishment.

Consequently Opera Week 2011 will be pushed back until October that year; in fact ACAOS are to be the first group to perform in the newly decked out Town Hall!

To fill the void between now and then we will be putting on a Christmas show at the beginning of December this year. The exact details are yet to be decided upon but you can bet that the club who brought you such originals as "Between the Sheets" and "Come Fly With Me" will have something special in store for the festive season! You can be sure that as soon as we know what's in store we'll let you know

What a whirlwind week!

Saturday evening saw the curtain fall for the last time for what will surely go down as one of the most successful Opera Weeks in our club's long history. Singin' in the Rain has proved to be our most popular show for a number of years and everyone, cast, crew and audience alike, shared an experience that few of us will forget in a hurry.

A huge thanks goes out from the committee to the cast, crew and production team but most of all to our audience without whom it would have, quite literally, all been for nothing; a heartfelt thanks to you all for coming along.

Next up the farewell concert at the end of April, please see the "Next Show" page for more details!
